Meg Research Organization ("we", "us", "our") is an independent provider of financial education and general market commentary for Singapore investors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you visit our website or register to receive our free materials. It is written to be consistent with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA").
2. Data We Collect
We collect only what we need to deliver our free materials:
- Registration data: your name and WhatsApp mobile number, provided by you when you register for the 2026 SG Stock Watchlist;
- Usage data: basic, non-identifying information such as the page you registered from and campaign parameters (e.g., UTM tags), which help us understand which content is useful;
- Communications data: messages you send us via WhatsApp.
We do not collect payment information. Our Watchlist is free, and we do not ask for NRIC numbers, addresses, or financial account details.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To deliver the Watchlist PDF and Warning Dashboard you registered for;
- To send our weekly research brief via WhatsApp;
- To respond to your messages and questions;
- To improve our content and understand which topics interest our readers.
4. Consent and Purpose Limitation
By submitting the registration form, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes stated in this Policy. We do not use your data for unrelated purposes, and we will seek fresh consent if our purposes change materially.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to operate our service:
- Google Workspace (Google Sheets): stores your registration records; access is restricted to authorised personnel;
- WhatsApp / Meta: delivers the Watchlist and weekly briefs; subject to Meta's own privacy policy;
- Analytics providers: aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics.
We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6. Data Retention
We retain your registration data only for as long as you remain subscribed to our briefs or as needed to keep proper business records. If you unsubscribe, your details are removed from our active distribution list and deleted when no longer necessary for the purposes above.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including access controls and encrypted transport (HTTPS), to protect your personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights Under the PDPA
You may at any time:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccuracies in your data;
- Withdraw consent to receiving our briefs (one message saying "unsubscribe" is enough), after which we will stop sending you marketing communications.
To exercise these rights, message us on WhatsApp or use the contact channels published on this website. We will respond within a reasonable period.
9. Third-Party Links and Platforms
Our website and materials may involve third-party platforms such as WhatsApp. Your interactions with those platforms are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
10. International Transfers
Our service providers may store or process data outside Singapore. Where we do so, we take reasonable steps to ensure the data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
11. Children
Our services are not directed at persons under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be highlighted in our communications where appropriate.
